Our goal at the Northwest School of Innovative Learning (NWSOIL) is to work closely with school districts to create an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that suits each child’s specific needs. NWSOIL equally balances academics and behavioral management in the classroom by providing a strong core curriculum and implementation of mental health therapies and therapeutic interventions. Our students are able to acquire more adaptive coping skills through group therapy and behavior modification within a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

NWSOIL is fully funded by school district resources and approved through the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction; placements are handled through school district representatives.
Prospective parents, agencies, and schools are encouraged to contact their local school district for information regarding criteria for admission. We currently serve the counties of King, Snohomish, Mason, Pierce, and Thurston counties.
